Camping trip with the boys next month

Planning a 3 day camping trip and I'm a little nervous because my 5yo has never slept in a tent. Looking at campgrounds in the mountains about 2 hours away. Any tips for keeping young kids entertained at a campsite? Thinking fishing, hiking, building stuff. What am I missing?
