Camping trip with the boys this coming weekend

Taking the kids up to the lake for 3 days. Bringing a cooler full of stuff to grill, the tent, sleeping bags, fishing rods. Pretty basic setup but they've never done an overnight camping trip before so I'm excited to see how they handle it. Any last minute tips? This is gonna be good for them to unplug from screens for a bit.

Three days at the lake sounds perfect. That cooler full of grilling stuff is going to hit different out there. What kind of spot are you heading to? Public campground or more secluded?

Nice. We did a camping trip like that last month and honestly it was some of the best time with my boys. No phones, just us and the fire. You're going to have a blast.
