Camping trip with the boys went sideways real fast

Took my two sons camping at a state park about an hour away. Packed the car Thursday night, felt like a scout master with all my gear laid out. First night was great, they loved the tent. Second morning my oldest gets sick, throwing up everywhere. Spent the rest of the weekend in the camper with him while my youngest and I just played cards and ate snacks. Not the adventure I planned but honestly some of my best memories with them. We're definitely going back.

Camping trips with the boys always have at least one curveball. Sounds like you packed smart though, so hopefully you bounced back quick.

Love the enthusiasm going in with all the gear laid out perfect. Those camping stories where things go sideways end up being the best ones anyway.
