Cooked a whole chicken in cast iron for the first time

Saw a recipe online and figured I'd give it a shot yesterday. Turned out amazing actually. Crispy skin, juicy meat, minimal cleanup. Made potatoes and veggies on the stovetop and had a legit Sunday dinner. Kid even said it tasted better than the rotisserie chicken we usually grab. Feeling pretty proud about that one. Might make it a weekly thing.
