Deck build starting this Saturday

Finally getting started on that deck I've been planning. Got the materials delivered yesterday and spent like an hour just organizing everything in the garage. My neighbor offered to help which is awesome. Hoping to get the frame done by Sunday. Anyone have tips on keeping the boards straight? This is only my second big project.

That's awesome! How long have you been planning this? Nothing beats that feeling when the materials finally show up and you can actually start.

Just make sure you have the right tools and good lighting. I started a deck build once and underestimated how many times I'd need to run back to the hardware store.

This is going to eat up every Saturday and probably some weeknights for the next few weeks. But man, there's nothing like building something with your own hands. You're gonna crush it.
