Okay so I watched a video and thought I could tile the kitchen backsplash myself to save money. Turns out I cannot. The grout is uneven, some tiles are crooked, and I somehow messed up the measurements. My wife was nice about it but I could tell she was holding back. Calling a professional next week. Sometimes it's worth just paying the expert.
Hey, at least you tried and learned something. I'd probably just accept the uneven grout and call it rustic charm. Could always bring in someone who actually knows what they're doing if it's bugging you too much.
YouTube tile jobs look so easy until you're standing there with a trowel like what the heck am I doing. At least you tried. Most people don't.
