DIY deck project - in over my head?

Started a deck renovation project without really knowing what I'm doing. Watched a bunch of YouTube videos and figured it couldn't be that hard. Well, I'm halfway through and realizing I might have made some mistakes with the framing. Anyone done a deck before? Should I hire someone to come check my work or am I just overthinking this?

I respect the hustle, but deck work isn't the time to wing it. That thing's gotta be safe for your kids to be on. Maybe grab someone who knows what they're doing to at least look it over?

YouTube University is real, but decks are one of those projects where in-person help is worth its weight in gold. Don't hesitate to ask a buddy or a pro to at least check your work before you go too far.
