DIY garage makeover - worth every penny of sweat

Spent the last month converting half my garage into a workspace for my hobbies. Built workbenches, pegboard organization, tool storage, proper lighting. Did most of it myself with help from my brother and some YouTube videos. Cost about 2000 bucks total. Now I actually have a place to work on projects instead of doing everything on the kitchen table. My wife is thrilled to not find my tools scattered everywhere. Worth it just for the marital peace alone lol.

I did something similar with half my garage for woodworking. The payoff is real when you actually have a dedicated space. Plus my kids love watching me work on projects out there.

The sweat equity is real. Half my garage is basically my escape from the chaos. Glad someone else gets it. Now when my ex asks where I am, I can point to actual shelving and not just a mess.
