DIY treehouse disaster - need help salvaging this

So I spent all last weekend building a treehouse platform with my 7yo and 9yo in our oak tree. Got it up, they loved it, everything was great. Then Tuesday night we get a windstorm and half the platform collapsed. It's still up there, dangling from one side. The kids are asking when they can use it again and I'm looking at this wreckage thinking... do I try to rebuild or am I better off just taking the whole thing down? Has anyone dealt with storm damage on a treehouse before? Any tips for reinforcing it better this time? I don't want to spend another $300 on lumber if I'm just going to screw it up again.
