DIY Treehouse - Going Bigger Than Expected
Started as a simple platform in our oak tree. Now it's basically a full treehouse with walls and a roof. Been working on it for 6 weeks with my boys helping. Used reclaimed wood from a torn down barn. It's not perfect but it's solid and the kids love it. Spent way more money than I wanted but we're doing it right so nobody gets hurt. Almost done. Just need to finish the railing and add a pulley system for snacks. Best weekend project ever honestly.
Walls and a roof sounds incredible. How long did the whole project take you? I love these kinds of weekend missions but I always underestimate the time.
Please tell me you documented this build. I need photos of this treehouse situation because this sounds insane in the best way possible.
