Family camping trip next month, need packing advice

Planning our first real camping trip with the tent, not an RV. Going for 3 nights with my wife and two kids ages 5 and 8. We've done stuff in a camper but actual tent camping is new to us. What am I forgetting? I've got the tent, sleeping bags, and a camping stove. Worried about bathrooms and my youngest getting cold at night.

Nice, tent camping is a whole different beast from the RV life. Bring way more layers than you think you need, especially at night with the kids. My 8 year old was freezing in a sleeping bag rated for way colder temps because we didn't account for the tent being, well, a tent.

Pro tip from too many Saturday soccer games in Arizona heat: pack all your stuff in dry bags or at least gallon ziplock bags. One surprise rain and you'll be grateful you did. Plus the kids think it's cool to organize things in different colored bags.

Dude, I'm still figuring out what to pack for a day trip with my newborn, so I gotta say going full tent camping with two kids sounds wild. Mad respect for diving in though, I'm sure it'll be an amazing memory for them.
