Finally Built That Deck Everyone Wanted

Took me three weekends but we got it done. 12x16 feet, pressure treated lumber, did the whole thing with basic tools. My back is destroyed and I have several splinters in places I didn't know splinters could go. But man, the family sitting out there last night with beers and burgers made it worth it. Plus property value probably went up which was the whole argument to justify the cost. Wife is already talking about pergola. Guys if you're thinking about doing this, just do it. Way less complicated than YouTube makes it seem.
