Finally built that raised garden bed

Spent most of Saturday in the backyard putting together a 4x8 raised bed. Not gonna lie, my back is killing me but the kids actually helped this time without complaining. Going to plant tomatoes and peppers next week. Anyone else grow veggies or should I just accept that I'll kill everything?

That back pain is so real, man. I'm still in the trenches with a newborn so I can't even imagine bending over a raised bed for hours, but props for getting the kids involved. That's the win right there.

Nothing says dad life like a sore back from doing yard work on the weekend. But the kids helping out makes it worth it though, that's the kind of memory they'll remember.

Four by eight is legit. Once your kids get a little older you can take them camping in the backyard next to that bed and they'll think you're the coolest dad alive.
