Finally built that raised garden bed

Been putting this off all summer but finally got around to it last Saturday. Got some cedar boards from Home Depot, threw together a simple frame, and filled it with soil. The kids actually helped which made it take twice as long but honestly it was nice having them out there with me. Already planted some tomatoes and lettuce. Wife says if this works she wants me to build three more beds next spring. Send help.

Finally got around to it - I feel that in my soul. I've got three projects on my list that have been sitting there since spring. Proud of you for actually finishing something.

Nice work getting it done! Cedar is the way to go. How big did you end up going? I've been thinking about doing one of these but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

That's awesome dude. I keep saying I'm gonna do something like this but with two kids and work I can never find a whole Saturday to dedicate to a project. What are you planning to grow?

That's awesome man. I tried this last year and totally underestimated how much work it would be, but it's so worth it once you get it going. Did you fill it with good soil right away or let it sit?

Nice! Cedar is the way to go. How big did you end up making it? I'm thinking about doing something similar but my wife wants it in the front yard and I'm worried it'll look weird.
