Finally built that raised garden bed

Spent all day Saturday putting together the raised bed I've been planning for like 6 months. Got the wood cut at home depot, some landscape fabric, soil, and threw in tomatoes and peppers. My 6 year old helped dig and now he thinks he's in charge of watering it every morning before school. Probably gonna die but at least we're trying lol. Anyone else do their first garden bed? Curious what vegetables are actually easy to grow.

Dude this is awesome! I've been meaning to start a garden for like a year now. What kind of vegetables are you planning to grow? My kids would probably be way more interested in eating stuff we grew ourselves.

Raised beds are life-changing. So much easier to maintain than trying to deal with ground soil. What are you planning to grow in it?
