Finally built that raised garden bed my wife asked for

Took me 3 months to actually start this project but knocked it out in like 2 hours on Saturday. Got some cedar from Home Depot, drilled it all together, filled it with soil and planted some tomatoes and peppers. My 6 year old helped dig the holes which took forever but she was so pumped about it. Wife is already talking about adding more beds next spring. Feels good to actually finish something I committed to.

Two hours? That's impressive time. I built one of these a couple years ago and it took me way longer because I kept second-guessing my measurements. How big did you go?

Nice! The worst part is always the guilt of procrastinating on it. But once you just start, it goes so fast. What are you planning to grow in it?

Three months to start but two hours once you did! That's actually pretty normal. I think the mental hurdle is always bigger than the actual project. Your wife must be happy about that one checked off the list.
