Finally built that treehouse

Been planning this for 2 years. Got the plans online, sourced the materials, and spent the last 3 weekends building a treehouse in our backyard with my boys helping. It's nothing fancy, just a solid platform with rails, but watching my kids climb up there for the first time was worth every blister and sore muscle. Next weekend we're adding the rope bridge. This is way more satisfying than sitting inside.

Two years in the planning and you actually pulled the trigger? That's awesome dude. My kids would lose their minds for a treehouse. How sturdy did you go with it? Any particular safety features you added?

This is on my list too. Did you get the structural engineering right? I'm paranoid about my kids being up there and having it be sketchy. What did you use for the deck surface?

Dude that's incredible. Those are the projects that stick with kids forever. They're going to remember playing up there way more than any toy you could buy them.
