Finally built that treehouse we promised

Took me like 6 months of planning and two weekends of actual work but we did it. The boys helped out more than they hurt and they're sleeping out there tonight. Best dad move I've made in a while, totally worth the sore back and the 47 trips to Home Depot.

Nice work getting it done. I've been thinking about a treehouse for my daughter but keep putting it off. What was the biggest challenge you ran into during the build?

That's awesome man. Six months of planning sounds about right for something like that. Did the boys actually help with the building part or were they mostly supervising from the ground?

This is the kind of project that pays dividends for years. My kids still talk about helping me build our deck like it was yesterday. You're creating memories they won't forget.
