Finally built the treehouse with my boys

Spent the last 6 weekends working on this treehouse in our oak tree with my 6 and 9 year old. We did a lot of the actual building together even though it would've been faster to just do it myself. Watching them understand how things fit together and being proud of what they created is something I'll never forget. Best project ever.

Dude this is goals. Six weekends though? You're a legend. My 9yo keeps asking me to build one but I've been putting it off for like two years. How'd you get the rope ladder situation to work?

This is exactly the kind of weekend mission I aspire to. Did you guys have a game plan going in or was it more figuring it out as you went? Also how many safety meetings did you have to have?

That's the kind of thing they're gonna remember forever. Seriously one of those projects that becomes a core memory. Well done getting it done with both kids actually helping and not losing your mind.
