Finally finished the backyard deck. Only took 4 months!

Started this project back in March and we got the last stain on today. 16x12 treated lumber, added a fire pit underneath. Spent almost every Saturday on this thing. Kids helped toward the end which was the best part. First family dinner out there tonight. Worth every sore muscle and splinter.

Man, 16x12 treated lumber and you actually finished it. Most projects like that I see dads starting never make it to the stain phase. Respect.

Four months and a fire pit underneath? That's not just a deck, that's a whole hangout space. Every Saturday of work paid off right there.
