First camping trip with the boys this summer
Just booked a campground for July and I'm lowkey panicking. Have two kids ages 4 and 8, wife is in, I'm the one who has to keep everyone alive in the woods for three nights. Planning to keep it simple - tent, campfire, lots of snacks, fishing if we can manage it. Already told the wife no ambitious hiking plans. Is it bad that my main goal is just not burning down the campsite while cooking?
Which campground? I'm always looking for good spots in the midwest that are actually kid-friendly. The ones with the little playgrounds make a huge difference when you need a break from the constant supervision.
