First camping trip with the family - ask me anything
Just got back from our first actual camping trip with the kids (tent, fire, all of it). We went to a state park about 90 minutes away. Took way more prep than I expected but man it was worth it. The kids slept in the tent, we made s'mores, hiked a trail in the morning. Only one minor meltdown which honestly could've been worse. We're already planning the next one. Happy to answer questions if anyone's nervous about trying this.
First real camping trip is a huge milestone. How'd the kids do sleeping in the tent? That's always the wildcard for us. Either they're out cold or it's a long night of questions.
