First camping trip with the family - what am I forgetting?
Got a cabin booked for next weekend with the wife and two kids (6 and 4). We're going to a state park about 2 hours away. I've got the tent, sleeping bags, camping stove, and cooler. We're planning to hike on Saturday and cook over a fire. I'm worried I'm forgetting something obvious but can't figure out what. Should I bring like a first aid kit? What about entertainment for when they get bored? Any experienced campers have advice for keeping young kids entertained without screens?
Sleeping bags, extra socks (trust me), and way more snacks than you think you need. Also download some offline games for the car ride.
