First camping trip with the kids - tips?

Taking the whole family camping next month for the first time. We have a tent and sleeping bags but I'm worried about keeping my 6yo and 8yo entertained without wifi. Also don't want to deal with a disaster if someone has an accident at night. Should I just do a backyard camping thing first to test it out? Any good games or activities for the tent at night?

Get those camp chairs for the parents. Seriously. You'll want a place to sit and decompress at the end of the day. Trust me on this one.

Bring way more snacks than you think you need. And I mean way more. Also a headlamp for night bathroom trips saved us.

Pro tip: bring a camping pillow or your neck will hate you. And baby wipes are your best friend for cleaning up without a shower.

First camping trip is a big deal. Don't overthink it. Just make sure everyone has a sleeping bag that actually keeps them warm and you're golden. We learned that the hard way.
