First camping trip with the whole family
We're planning our first real camping trip as a family next month. Two nights, state park about an hour away. I'm excited but also nervous because my youngest has anxiety and I'm not sure how she'll do away from home. Anyone have tips for introducing camping to kids? What should I not forget? Should I go easy on them with camping food or try to keep it healthy? Want to make it fun so they actually want to do it again.
Two nights is perfect for a first trip. Long enough to really get into it but not so long that everyone loses their minds. My 10-year-old is finally getting to where she actually enjoys it instead of complaining the whole time. The age your kids at?
