Taking the kids camping for the first time next month. We've got a tent and I'm trying to plan meals and activities so it doesn't turn into a disaster. Any advice for keeping 5, 8, and 11 year olds entertained in the middle of nowhere? Also what's the deal with bears? Are we actually worried about that or am I being paranoid?

Tent camping with the whole family sounds amazing. My little guy is only 3 weeks old so we're a ways off from this, but I'm already thinking about when we can do family stuff like that.
