First time camping with the family - tips before we go?

Taking the kids (3, 7, and 9) camping for the first time in like 15 years. Got a decent tent and some sleeping bags but I'm worried about a few things. How do you keep kids entertained when there's no WiFi lol. Also what's the move for bathroom situations, especially with the little one? And should I prep all the meals at home or is cooking over a fire actually doable with kids running around? Any tried and true family camping tips would help a lot.

Those three ages are actually pretty perfect for camping. My advice is pack way less entertainment than you think you need. Kids find sticks and rocks and suddenly they're fine for hours.

Test your tent in the backyard first if you can. My family's first camping trip was a disaster because we couldn't figure out how to set it up properly and it rained. Now we always do a practice run.

Bring more snacks than you think you need. Seriously. My kids burned through everything I packed by the second day. Also those glow sticks are worth their weight in gold for keeping kids entertained after dark.

Camping with a 3 year old is going to be interesting. Make sure you have a good sleep setup for them - my oldest was terrified sleeping in the tent his first time. We ended up doing a lot of activities during the day so he was exhausted by bedtime.
