First time smoking a brisket - 16 hours what was I thinking

Decided to smoke a brisket for a family thing on Saturday. Started at 4am because apparently that's what you do. My wife thought I was insane. Anyway it actually turned out pretty good and everyone seemed to like it. My neighbor gave me some pointers which helped. Gonna do this again but maybe with better planning next time so I don't look like a zombie on Sunday morning.
