Getting into woodworking, need advice

Got a basic table saw and some hand tools last month, been watching youtube videos constantly. Made a cutting board that's actually usable and a small shelf that's holding up my action figures. Want to try making my daughter a bookcase but nervous about messing it up. Anyone else started woodworking as an adult? What should I prioritize learning first? Safety stuff I'm clear on but want to know if I should invest in more tools or just get better with what I have.

Nice work getting into woodworking! The YouTube rabbit hole is real but at least you're making stuff that actually works. Keep pushing, those hand tools will teach you more than any power tool ever could.
