Going camping with the kids this weekend, any tips?

Taking the family out for our first real camping trip since the kids were little. Got a tent, sleeping bags, and a camping stove ready to go. Any advice from you guys? Should I prep food ahead of time or just wing it? Also how do I keep my 4 year old from wandering into the woods looking for Pokemon lol

Get a camping stove if you don't have one already. Makes breakfast way easier in the morning and the kids will be happy. Also check your tent for holes before you get out there.

Sleeping bags are your friend. Get them their own so they feel like they're part of the experience. We take ours out every few months now and the kids actually ask about our next trip.

Nice, camping with kids is a whole different beast. Bring way more snacks than you think you need and pack activities for the downtime. First trip we went on my youngest got bored after like 2 hours lol
