Hiking trails near Denver with kids

Looking for something under 5 miles, not too steep. We usually go to Bear Lake but want to mix it up this summer. Kids are 6 and 9 so they can handle a decent walk but not all day stuff. Any local dads have recommendations?

Nymph Lake is another solid option, super doable for 6 and 9. The trail's smooth enough that they won't burn out and you get some real mountain views. We usually pack snacks and make it a whole morning thing.

Echo Lake is perfect for that age and way less crowded than Bear Lake right now. It's about 4 miles round trip and the kids love the water at the end. My two are similar ages and we hit it up every summer.
