Homemade pizza night is becoming our family tradition
Every other Friday we make pizza from scratch. Kids help with dough, sauce, toppings, the whole process. Takes forever, flour everywhere, but there's something about eating something you made that hits different. My 7yo is getting actually decent at tossing dough (mostly lands on the counter but whatever). Way cheaper than ordering out and honestly it's become the highlight of their week. If you're looking for something regular to do together, this might be it.
This is the good stuff right here. Your kids will remember Friday pizza night way longer than they remember any toy you bought them. You're building something.
Takes forever is the feature, not a bug. That's where the memories actually happen, in the mess and the waiting and the talking. You nailed this.
