Honest question: am I overcomplicating the simple stuff?
Feel like I'm overthinking everything lately. Like I spent an hour researching different hiking trail apps when I could just... go for a walk with my kids. I'm buying specialized gear I don't need. Planning elaborate projects when they'd probably be happy just building something in the backyard. Anyone else catch themselves doing this? How do you just... keep it simple?
An hour researching hiking trails is actually not that bad. You're trying to keep your kids safe, so a little prep is smart.
I do this all the time. Spent like 45 minutes researching the best way to pack a kid's backpack once. My wife just laughed at me.
