LEGO robotics kit review: worth the hype?

Just dropped $150 on the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 for my 11yo and honestly? Totally worth it. He's been obsessed with it for a month straight. Way better than staring at a screen playing games. The app is pretty intuitive for beginners, and there are tons of YouTube tutorials. We built a robot that pushes a ball around the garage and he's already planning the next one. If your kid likes building and problem-solving, grab it. Expensive but better than another PS5 game he'll beat in two days.

honestly $150 for a month of genuine engagement with something is pretty solid ROI. way cheaper than a trip to the arcade or whatever

Mine got one of these two years ago and honestly it sits in the closet now. Maybe I just picked a kid who likes screens more lol. Glad yours is still into it tho
