Made sourdough bread for the first time and it actually worked

Started a starter three weeks ago and finally baked my first loaf yesterday. I was so nervous I was going to kill it but the crust turned out perfect and it smells insane. My kids are calling it dad bread now and they actually want to eat it. This is my new weekend obsession. Anyone else into sourdough? Tips for keeping a starter alive with a toddler who loves to touch everything?
