My son's science fair project just WON and I'm pumped
His volcano vinegar/baking soda thing beat out like 30 other projects. I know, I know - super basic experiment, but watching him present it with confidence made me tear up a little ngl. He wanted to do it, he helped mix everything, and when it went off during judging he just beamed. These moments hit different.
The volcano wins because kids understand it and it WORKS. Simple doesn't mean bad. Your son learned the scientific method and won a competition. That beats a complicated project that doesn't execute.
