Our attempt at cooking together was a disaster lol
Thought it would be cute to make pizza from scratch with the kids (8, 5, 3) on Saturday. What actually happened:
- Flour EVERYWHERE
- Middle child decided to taste the raw yeast
- Youngest knocked over the olive oil
- Somehow sauce ended up in the dog's water bowl
- Oven door got left open like three times
- ONE of them actually turned out edible
I'm not sure I'm cut out for this "quality time" thing but I guess they had fun? Wife is still finding flour in weird places.
Raw yeast story sent me. That's a "at least they're confident" moment. And honestly the flour everywhere and oil mess is just the price of cooking with kids under 8. Worth it for the memory though.
Olive oil in the dog's water bowl is somehow the most chaotic part of this for me
