PSA: LEGO Architecture sets are amazing for building projects
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about these LEGO Architecture sets but we got the Colosseum one for my 10yo and we built it together over like 3 weekends. It's way more interesting than regular LEGO for us 'adults supervising' because the designs are actually cool.
Bigger pieces, real instructions that don't make you want to scream, and at the end you have something that actually looks like something. We've done 4 now. Worth every penny if you're looking for a longer-form building activity.
Wait the Architecture sets are actually good? I thought those were just for adults. Might grab the Colosseum for my 11yo then
Just built the Big Ben one with my 10yo and honestly yeah, the instructions are so much clearer than regular LEGO. No weird steps where you have to disconnect everything
How long did the Colosseum actually take? Like real time, not 'we did it over 3 weekends' - because that could mean 3 hours total or 15 hours
