Remodeling the bathroom and found mold in the walls. Budget just tripled.

Was supposed to be a simple tile and paint job. Ripped out the old vanity yesterday and found black mold all up in the wall framing behind it. Now I'm dealing with remediation, new drywall, waiting for inspectors. What started as a 2 week project is now a 2 month project. Wife is not thrilled. This is my fault for not properly venting the bathroom apparently. Lesson learned. Anyone else deal with surprise mold situations?
