Renovating the garage into a workshop - recommendations?

Finally getting the space to set up a real workshop. Kids are old enough now that they can be somewhat useful. Planning to put in workbenches, get some actual tools, maybe teach them some basic woodworking. Right now it's just a storage nightmare for stuff we don't need. Any tips on organization or tools that are worth investing in? Want to keep it under 2k for setup. Goal is to have a place where we can work on projects together.

That's awesome you're getting the workshop set up! I'm still in the apartment phase with my daughter, but I love that you're at a stage where the kids can actually help out. Sounds like a great way to teach them some skills.
