Road trip planning for cross-country with 3 kids, ages 5, 8, 11

We're attempting to drive from Atlanta to Seattle this summer and I'm probably insane. That's 2,300 miles with three kids who fight constantly. I've started researching tablets, AirPods, and noise-canceling headphones like they're life-saving equipment because honestly they might be.

My plan so far:

• Audiobooks (anyone have recs for that age range?)
• Stop every 2 hours for movement
• Snack boxes prepared ahead (not just random gas station chaos)
• Maybe a reward system for staying alive without killing each other

What am I missing? Tell me your road trip horror stories so I can prepare mentally.
