We're driving to visit family in Texas (12 hours) next month with my 7yo and we're dreading the backseat complaints. Looking for podcast recommendations, audiobooks, or even just a killer playlist that keeps kids entertained. We've done Bluey and PJ Masks to death. Make a stop every two hours even if they say they don't need it. Stretching legs helps everyone's mood. We learned that the hard way.
That's a brutal drive with a 7yo. Pro tip: get some of those magnetic games and a lap desk with cup holders. Saved my sanity on a 10-hour trip last summer.
You need a mix of new toys they haven't seen before, snacks at different times, and audio books or podcasts. Space them out throughout the drive.
Download some shows on an iPad if you haven't already. I know it's screen time but 12 hours calls for backup plans. No shame in that game.

The playlist is smart but honestly for a 7yo I'd mix in some kids podcasts too. Stuff like Story Pirates or Brains On keeps them way more engaged than music.
