Road trip with toddler PRO TIPS
Just got back from 8 hours in the car with our 3yo twins and honestly it wasn't the nightmare I expected. Here's what worked:
• Downloaded LIKE 40 episodes of stuff (Blue's Clues, Bluey, Daniel Tiger) to a tablet with downloaded shows from Netflix, not streaming
• New Dollar Tree toys I'd been saving for boring moments
• Actual snack boxes with variety—not just chips
• Stopped every 90min so I didn't lose my mind
• Let them eat in the car (controversial I know but worth it)
Maybe obvious to some but I was dreading this trip for weeks. Might actually do another one.
Respect for the preparation. So many parents wing it and then act shocked when their kids are climbing the walls. You clearly went in with a plan and it shows.
