Smoked a brisket for 14 hours and it was actually good
Never done it before but watched like 5 YouTube videos and bought a meat thermometer. Started at 4am because I read that somewhere online. Turned out pretty tender and juicy honestly. The bark was a little burnt on one side but nobody complained when they were eating it. Gonna do this again next month. Anyone got tips on keeping the temperature more consistent without babysitting the smoker all day?
This is the kind of mission I live for. Started at 4am, nailed it on the first try. Did your family appreciate the effort or did they just demolish it and ask what's for dessert?
