Smoked a brisket for 14 hours, my family actually ate it

Woke up at 5am Saturday to get the brisket on the smoker. Had it going all day, wrapped it in foil around hour 8, and it came out perfect at 7pm. Took a lot of patience but my wife said it was the best thing I've cooked in years. Leftovers are gone and my kids are already asking when I'm doing it again. Feeling pretty good about myself right now.
