Smoked a brisket for the first time yesterday
Woke up at 5am to prep it, kept the temp at 225 for like 14 hours, wrapped it in foil at the stall. Buddy I've been wanting to try this for years. Came out perfect. Neighbors could smell it from 3 houses away and I'm pretty sure 2 of them showed up 'just happening' to stop by at dinner time. Totally worth the time investment.
That's dedication right there. 14 hours at 225 is no joke. How'd it turn out? That early morning prep is rough but totally worth it when you nail the brisket.
