Smoked Brisket for 14 Hours Straight

Set my alarm for 6 AM, got the brisket on the smoker with oak and hickory, didn't pull it off until 8 PM. Thing was absolutely incredible. My family devoured it and I actually got compliments from my in laws which never happens. The secret is patience and not opening that smoker door every 5 minutes like you're checking the oven. Made me realize I love doing this stuff. Looking for new recipes to try next month. Thinking pulled pork or maybe ribs.
