Sous vide cooker changed my Sunday meal prep game
Got one of those Anova sous vide machines two months ago and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's transformed how I prep meals for the week. Throw chicken breasts or steaks in a bag with some seasoning before I go to church Sunday morning, set it to 62 celsius for a couple hours, and come back to perfectly cooked meat. Then I just sear it on the cast iron for 90 seconds per side. Had so much more time to spend with the kids because I wasn't standing over a stove. Already planning a reverse sear prime rib next weekend. If you meal prep at all this thing is worth every penny.
Man, I've been eyeing one of those Anova cookers. At 3 months old, I'm barely keeping my kid fed, let alone meal prepping, but maybe once I get some sleep back I'll jump on this.
