Started a sourdough starter and I'm obsessed

My wife made fun of me for a week but I finally got my starter to work and I made my first actual loaf of bread on Saturday. It's not perfect but it tastes amazing and honestly it's kind of meditative feeding it every day and watching it grow. My 6 year old loves being my "sous chef" and helping me punch down the dough. Could see this becoming a thing. Anyone else into sourdough or am I just another midlife crisis bread guy?
