Sunday cooking project - smoked a brisket
Decided to finally try smoking a brisket after watching like 20 youtube videos. Put it on the pellet grill at 6am, wrapped it in foil around hour 6, pulled it off around 4pm. Let it rest for 20 minutes and sliced it up. Honestly it turned out way better than I expected. The bark was crispy, meat was tender, family went nuts. Definitely doing this again. Cost about 25 bucks for the meat so pretty reasonable.
That's awesome man, the foil wrap at hour 6 is the move. I've been meaning to try smoking brisket myself but with the twins I barely have time to plan that far ahead, haha. Would love to hear how it turned out!
